Quality Laminate, installed for around $4 per sq ft!Back when I was a Sales Weasel for a large nationwide flooring company I was taught to sell mid-grade laminate, installed, materials and labor for over $12 sq ft!... and for five years I did! Why did we ask for such a high price? Because our huge mega-company had tons overhead. We had a multi-million dollar advertising campaign. We had managers, corporate managers, sales managers, assistant sales managers, Sales Trainers, Corporate Sales Trainers and the list goes on and on.. So why did our customers agree to pay so much? Because we convinced them we had a superior product. We explained we didn't sell "cheap laminate." We convinced them we had THE best installers in town. We also explained our warranty was second to none. Most importantly we scared them into thinking that although they could probably get a better price from another flooring company, in the end they would end up with a mediocre product and a lousy installation. How did I do it? At the time, I actually thought it was true, I really believed my company was worth paying the high prices they were asking for. I really belived it was impossible to find quality cheap laminate. Well, I know better now and I'm here to tell you that with a little research you can get a quality mid grade laminate, installed, materials and labor for around $4 a square foot! So how do you do it? Well you don't call Home Depot, Lowes or Empire Today. I have nothing against these companies, In Fact, I love Home Depot, but I'm trying to save you money and these companies have way too much overhead. First of all, it's not all about money.. I get that. It's about quality. It's about getting the most for your money. It's about getting the highest quality product and service your money can buy. and that's what I'm going to help you do! I'm now going to share with you what most companies hope you don't know! To get the best price possible on laminate flooring you need two things..
Why do they need to know? Because they need to know they have competition. They also need to know that you're not the kind of person that makes emotional, spontaneous decisions. Most home improvement companies train their sales reps to "start high" That means they will quote you the highest price possible just to see what you will do. When a sales person knows they have competition and when they know their customer isn't buying, that day, the sales person tends to skip the "dog and pony show." When they know this from the beginnng, the first price they give you, will almost always be their best price. From experience, I can tell you, the customers I have worked with, that paid the best price, are customers that were referred to me from one of two different companies... Renovation Experts and Angie's List. Using one or both of these two companies will save you hundreds and possibly thousands of dollars! So when I sign up for Renovation Experts or Angie's List I'll get quality laminate flooring installed for around $4 per sq ft? Wait a minute.. You still have a little more work to do!
You want the second quote, with labor only, because you might be able to buy the materials, yourself,
for less, with one of the two highest rated internet flooring retailers on the planet!
Now you have a sure-fire plan of attack!
Follow the steps I've outlined here and you will get the best price possible. I'm so sure of it that I'm willing to take this one further step by helping you myself. Thats right.. I will look over your quotes myself! Once you have signed up with Angie's List. Once you have used Renovation Experts and you have at least 3 quotes.. If you're still not sure if you have the best price possible I will personally help you. Tell me about your quote!Want my opinion? I'll need to know all the details about your flooring project. How many square feet do you have? What kind of flooring are you buying? What kind of padding are you using? What kind of 1/4 round are you using? How many doors do you have that will need transition pieces? Will the installers need to move furniture? Do they need to remove old flooring? I'm serious, fill out this form and I'll be glad to help! |
